Religion to a culture is extremely important. Religion is so important to a culture to where the relations of that Country/ culture are affected by what religion either country practices. A prime example is the US to Iraq we do not get a long at all with Iraq because they are an Islamic country a religion of a completely different type than Christianity while we get along a lot better with Israel because they practice Judaism a religion similar to Christianity. Religion also affects how a country/ culture will act. We for instance will always help a country practicing Judaism or Christianity over a country that is something else. An example of this is that we helped Jews win a war for Israel instead of the Palestinians. If Religion were not that important to a culture religion would not at all affect any of those things and we would be less biased in those matters, but since Religion does mean a lot to most cultures it affects all these things and more.

Latin and Anglo America
Latin and Anglo America were both affected greatly by European colonization, but they were affected in different ways.
Latin America was affected socially to where their national language is Spanish and their main religion is Roman Catholic. Anglo America on the other hand has English as their main language and most of the population’s religion is protestant. Socially they are similar because they both have the same alphabet.
Politically Anglo America has had a strong and consistently stable government because England colonized us with intelligent people. Latin America has had a history of having an unstable government because all the people Spain sent over were conquerors and work forces no one to set up a strong government. They are the same politically because Anglo and Latin America are both a democracy and have presidents.
Economically Anglo America has a wide spread economy because England sent down people who knew how to work the economy right. Latin America has more people working in the primary sector doing mostly farming and some mining because that was all Spain wanted of Latin America and no one really knew what to do with the economy. They are similar because both economies began as an agricultural society, but are now both manly a service economy although Anglo America got there faster.

latin america blog
Some of these plants have been known to have anti cancer qualities that we could synthesis together to make a cure for cancer. There is only one problem with this theory. The problem is that as we continue to cut down the rainforest we are also destroy the environment were these plants grow, so the plant species we are looking to cure diseases might be destroyed before we even find it.
